An outstanding result for our Junior Inter-Club team, winning the Waikato Bay's Final and bringing home the Cup.    We are incredibly proud!    Congratulations to Sue Clark, Claire Barkla, Mike Whalley, Matthias Herzog and Linda Browne.

We celebrated our wonderful patron's 98th birthday on Friday 17 August with a surprise lunch.  Jan had an outstanding day at the bridge table, winning E-W.  

Congratulations to Jane and Stephen Searle, Joyce Reid, Rex Tulloch, Derek Moores, Catharine Roozendaal, Christine Wood, Bronwyn Kamphorst, Matthias Herzog, Mike Whalley, Sue Clark and Linda Browne - our team competing in the Rotorua Teams Competition last Sunday. They came third overall.

 Matthias, Linda, Sue and Mike won the Junior division, which means they can now go to the Waikato/Bay’s Team competition. Good luck ! 
 

Bridge Lessons

We try to run beginners lessons every year, dependent on interest. The lessons are held in the evenings ( 7 p.m) at our clubrooms and run for 10 weeks. In 2025 they will start on 27 Feb. Well Christmas and New Year are done and dusted and it's time to get Bridge underway for 2025. 

Tuesday Sessions start again on the 14 January and Friday Sessions get underway on the 17th January. 

Monday Sessions  begin on  27th January ( Monday of Anniversary Weekend) and the Wednesday Sessions follow on the 29th January.
