2026 Melbourne Cup

The Club held its annual Melbourne Cup bridge day on Tuesday November 3rd bringing members together for a day of cards, shared lunch and to support our SPCA fundraiser. Following the games, a prize giving recognised the day's top bridge players as well as those who dressed the part. Julie Dukes judged the fashion competition awarding Christine Wood for the fanciest hat, Mike Chelley was named best-dressed man, and Trina Attwood took out the best-dressed woman award. Winners of the bridge were Jane and Stephen Searle NS with a score of 69.7, and Jenny Morris and Sue Gordon EW recording a score of 64.4 points. Thanks to all the participants for their support.
